MEDIT Research Fellowship Programme
Tallinn University’s Center of Excellence in Media Innovation and Digital Culture (MEDIT) at its Baltic Film, Media and Arts School (BFM) is offering to host international rsearchers to collaborate with MEDIT scholars on research in areas relevant to MEDIT (media innovation, media management, media economies, mediated communication, platformization, digital cultures, participatory practices on social media etc). We invite applications for four to six week fellowship stays in Tallinn, at any time between September and May. We invite both early career and established scholars (incl PhD students, but close to finishing).
We offer visiting MEDIT fellows:

Support letter by supervisor (for PhD researchers only).

We offer visiting MEDIT fellows:
- Coverage of travel expenses (travel is booked by MEDIT in dialogue with the fellow)
- Coverage of accommodation expenses (accommodation is booked by MEDIT in dialogue with the fellow);
- Reimbursement of research costs of up to 700 Euros;
- Stipend of 500 Euros for personal use.
- Shared office space at MEDIT, access to printer, scanner, library and if needed BFM AV production spaces and tools;
- Co-author a publication with another MEDIT scholar;
- Present their research in a public talk at BFM;
- Give a research seminar about their research project to other MEDIT scholars / PhD students (invited BA and MA students).

MEDIT Teaching Fellowship Programme
Tallinn University’s Center of Excellence in Media Innovation and Digital Culture (MEDIT) at its Baltic Film, Media and Arts School (BFM) is offering to host non-EU instructors (lecturer and up) to teach at BFM for a stay between one and two months.
MEDIT offers:
- Coverage of travel expenses (travel is booked by MEDIT);
- Coverage of accommodation expenses (accommodation is booked by MEDIT in
- Teaching stipend of 200 Euros per 1 ECTS taught. (One ECTS is equal to 20 instructor work hours (26 student hours, 7 contact hours))
- Shared office space at MEDIT, access to printer, scanner, library and if needed BFM
Visiting MEDIT fellows are expected to:
- Teach on MA or BA level of an amount of anything between 3 ECTS (one-month stay) and 6 ECTS (two-month stay). Teaching can also be done in collaboration with a BFM faculty member
- Give one public talk about your field of expertise at BFM

- A paragraph about your teaching style and previous teaching experience;
- Letter of support from a BFM faculty member that outlines as part of which course(s) and/or curricula the teaching will take place, and how BFM will benefit from the fellow;
- Preferred time and length of visit;
